INTRODUCTION

NOKIFER Tablet is a nutritional supplement used for the management of iron deficiency anemia. It is also used for the prevention and treatment of low levels of iron and folate in the body especially in women and children . NOKIFER Tablet contains Ferrous ascorbate and Folic acid as active ingredients that helps to meet up the nutritional needs in people who do not get sufficient nutrients and energy from their diet.

Ferrous ascorbate acts as an iron source that helps in management of iron deficiency anemia. Iron is essential for the formation of haemoglobin, a blood constituent that gives blood red colour and blood cells the capacity to transport oxygen throughout the body. Folic acid helps for the formation and maturation of red blood cells and for maintaining healthy functioning of nerves, blood vessels, heart, and brain. In addition to these, it also helps for the prevention of neural tube defects in foetus.

Always take NOKIFER Tablet exactly as advised by your doctor. Swallow NOKIFER Tablet with a glass of water. Do not exceed the stated daily recommended dosages. Before taking NOKIFER Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any preexisting disease conditions as a precaution.
