What is NISE Tablet used for?

NISE Tablet oral is used for the treatment of acute pain, osteoarthritis, postoperative pain and dysmenorrhoea.

NISE Tablet topical is used for the treatment of acute pain, sprain and acute traumatic tendonitis.

NISE Tablet may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

How does NISE Tablet work?

NISE Tablet belongs to the class of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This drug acts by blocking the synthesis of certain inflammation-causing agents. Thus, it helps in relieving pain and inflammation.

How to use NISE Tablet?

The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Use NISE Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.

  • Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Take NISE Tablet tablets with or without food.
  • Shake the syrup well before taking each dose to ensure the uniform mixing of the drug.
  • Wash and clean the affected area and apply a thin layer of NISE Tablet gel over the affected area.

If you miss a dose of NISE Tablet, use it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not use a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

The overdose symptoms of NISE Tablet include the following:

  • Heartburn
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Drowsiness
  • Weakness
  • Gastrointestinal haemorrhage
  • Seizures
  • High blood pressure
  • Coma
  • Kidney failure

You must seek immediate medical care if you experience any of the above symptoms.
