What is NIMEGESIC Drops used for?

NIMEGESIC Drops oral is used for the treatment of acute pain, osteoarthritis, postoperative pain and dysmenorrhoea.

NIMEGESIC Drops topical is used for the treatment of acute pain, sprain and acute traumatic tendonitis.

NIMEGESIC Drops may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

How does NIMEGESIC Drops work?

NIMEGESIC Drops belongs to the class of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This drug acts by blocking the synthesis of certain inflammation-causing agents. Thus, it helps in relieving pain and inflammation.

How to use NIMEGESIC Drops                                                                                                                               The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Use NIMEGESIC Drops as prescribed by your doctor.

  • Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Take NIMEGESIC Drops tablets with or without food.
  • Shake the syrup well before taking each dose to ensure the uniform mixing of the drug.
  • Wash and clean the affected area and apply a thin layer of NIMEGESIC Drops gel over the affected area.

If you miss a dose of NIMEGESIC Drops, use it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not use a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
