NE 400MG CAPSULE contains Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E) which belongs to the group of medicines called Vitamins. NE 400MG CAPSULE is used as a dietary supplement to prevent Vitamin E deficiency and to treat haemolytic anaemia (red blood disorder that occurs due to Vitamin E deficiency), cardiovascular disease & heavy metal poisoning in affected individuals.
The medicine is also used as a dietary supplement to act as an antioxidant (to reduce oxidative stress) and to provide betterment for hair and skin in affected individuals.
NE 400MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Vitamin E.
Before taking NE 400MG CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you have bleeding condition/blood clotting disorder, thrombosis (clot inside a blood vessel), gastrointestinal problems (such as pancreatic dysfunction/bile duct disorders), diabetes, kidney, and/or liver problems.
NE 400MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use during pregnancy when used at higher doses. It should be used with caution in pregnant women when indicated for use at recommended doses. It is also not recommended for use in breastfeeding women when used at higher doses and advised to be used with caution in breastfeeding mothers when used at recommended doses.
NE 400MG CAPSULE is generally not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) unless it is clearly necessary. It is advised to be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years/above) after consulting the doctor.
The most common side effects of taking NE 400MG CAPSULE are nausea, headache, changes in vision, and/or gastrointestinal upset. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsens.
NE 400MG CAPSULE acts as an antioxidant and protect cells from free radicals (compounds that cause damage to the cells resulting in illness & aging process) which initiates antioxidation process in the cells thus treating disease such as cardiovascular disorders in affected individuals.
Take NE 400MG CAPSULE as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
Nausea:
Take NE 400MG CAPSULE with/just after a meal. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating oil rich/spicy foods, sugary snacks and drinks. Avoid drinking too much liquid along with your meals, and drink slowly in between meals. Consult your doctor if the condition worsens.
Headache:
If NE 400MG CAPSULE causes headache, then take rest and drink plenty of fluids. Try to avoid drinking alcohol. Ask your doctor to recommend a painkiller. Headaches should usually go away after the first week of taking NE 400MG CAPSULE. If it lasts more than a week or becomes severe, then consult and inform your doctor.
