NANOPACLI 100MG contains Paclitaxel which belongs to a group of anti-cancer medicines called Taxanes. It is used to treat various forms of ovarian cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer and Kaposi’s sarcoma. Cancer is a disease in which some of the body’s cells grow uncontrollably and spread to other parts of the body. This medicine will be given as an injection by a healthcare professional.
Paclitaxel belongs to antineoplastic agents, which works by interfering with the microtubule structures (they help the cancer cells to divide and multiply). This slows the growth of cancer cells and eventually destroys them.
Before receiving NANOPACLI 100MG, tell your doctor about your complete medical history including infections, heart-problem, liver impairment, kidney malfunction and low white blood cell counts. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The common side effects are dizziness, nausea, vomiting, weakness, tiredness and hair loss. Women of childbearing potential should be advised to avoid becoming pregnant.
