What are the uses of NADIBACT?
NADIBACT is a topical antibacterial agent used to treat acne and other bacterial skin infections. It acts by stopping the growth and multiplication of the susceptible bacteria that causes skin infections.
Can I use NADIBACT to treat acne?
Yes. NADIBACT can be used to reduce acne outbreaks. It contains nadifloxacin which is a topical antibiotic. Following application on the skin, it destroys the susceptible bacteria that causes acne and helps you to achieve a clear skin.
Can NADIBACT be used in adolescents?
Yes. NADIBACT can be used in children and adolescents (aged 14 years or above) after consulting the doctor. It is not recommended for use in children aged below 14 years due to lack of safety data. Therefore, consult your doctor before using it.
Can NADIBACT be used during pregnancy?
Currently, there are only limited data regarding the use of NADIBACT in pregnant women. Therefore, consult your doctor before using this medicine if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
How to use NADIBACT?
NADIBACT is for external use only. Wash your hands before and after application. Apply a thin layer of NADIBACT on the affected area and rub it gently into the skin. It can be applied twice daily (i.e., at morning and at bedtime). However, your doctor will decide the number of times that you need to apply NADIBACT in a day depending upon your skin conditions. Avoid contact of this medicine with open wounds or areas around your eyes, nose, or mouth.
What should I do if I forget to apply NADIBACT?
If you forget to apply NADIBACT, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for next application, skip the missed one and apply NADIBACT regularly as usual. Never apply NADIBACT excessively to compensate for the missed time.
Can I stop using NADIBACT once my acne reduces?
No, do not stop using NADIBACT without consulting your doctor even if you are feeling better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured. Therefore, for better and complete treatment, it is advised to continue your treatment for the prescribed duration.
How long will it take for NADIBACT to reduce my acne?
You may notice a difference in your skin after 2 weeks of therapy. However, it may around 2 months (approx. 8 weeks) to achieve the desired results. Therefore, consistently use NADIBACT without any breaks or interruption in between the therapy.
Can NADIBACT be applied on the face?
Yes. NADIBACT can be applied on your face. But, before that, kindly do a patch test on your hands. This will help you to understand that how your skin reacts to NADIBACT. If you experience any skin irritation while patch test, do not apply NADIBACT on your face. Consult your doctor for advice.
Will NADIBACT be more effective if I overuse it?
Do not overuse NADIBACT. Excessive application of NADIBACT may cause skin irritation and dryness. Therefore, use this medicine only as directed by your physician.
What precautions do I need to follow while using NADIBACT?
Use NADIBACT as directed by the physician. Avoid using this medicine on inflamed, irritated, or sensitive skin areas. Before using this medicine inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding as a precaution. Contact your doctor if your skin condition worsens. Do not skip application or discontinue the use of NADIBACT without consulting your doctor.
