MYGEL MPS SUSPENSION is a combination of Magaldrate, Oxetacaine and Simethicone which belongs to the group of medicines called Antacid, Local Anesthetic and Anti-flatulence respectively. It is used for the treatment of acidity, heartburn, gas and stomach ulcers. The stomach is generally protected from acid by a mucous layer.
In some cases, due to excess production of acid, the mucous layer gets eroded, which leads to problems like acidity and heartburn. Bloating occurs when the abdomen is filled with air or gas. Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption while taking MYGEL MPS SUSPENSION as it leads to increased production of stomach acid, thereby increasing acidity and heartburn.
MYGEL MPS SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in patients with hepatic and renal impairments. MYGEL MPS SUSPENSION is not recommended for use by pregnant or breastfeeding women. MYGEL MPS SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in children and it should be used with caution in elderly patients. The most common side effects of taking MYGEL MPS SUSPENSION are nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea and dry mouth. Consult your doctor if any of your symptoms get worse or persist.

MYGEL MPS SUSPENSION is a combination of magaldrate, oxytacaine and simethicone. Magaldrate is an antacid that works by neutralising excess stomach acid. Oxetacaine is a local anaesthetic that exerts a numbing effect, thereby providing relief from pain due to ulcers or acidic injuries in the stomach. Simethicone is an antiflatulent that works by decreasing gas bubbles' surface tension, thereby facilitating gas expulsion through flatus or belching (burping). It also prevents gas accumulation and formation in the digestive tract.
Take MYGEL MPS SUSPENSION as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. Your physician will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending on your age, body weight and disease condition.
Stop taking MYGEL MPS SUSPENSION and contact your physician immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:

Do not take MYGEL MPS SUSPENSION if you are allergic to Magaldrate, Simethicone, Oxetacaine or other ingredients of this medicine.
