MUCOGEL SUGAR FREE MINT FLAVOUR SUSPENSION is a combination of Magaldrate, Oxetacaine and Simethicone which belongs to the group of medicines called Antacid, Local Anesthetic and Anti-flatulence respectively. It is used for the treatment of acidity, heartburn, gas and stomach ulcers. The stomach is generally protected from acid by a mucous layer.
In some cases, due to excess production of acid, the mucous layer gets eroded, which leads to problems like acidity and heartburn. Bloating occurs when the abdomen is filled with air or gas. Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption while taking MUCOGEL SUGAR FREE MINT FLAVOUR SUSPENSION as it leads to increased production of stomach acid, thereby increasing acidity and heartburn.
MUCOGEL SUGAR FREE MINT FLAVOUR SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in patients with hepatic and renal impairments. MUCOGEL SUGAR FREE MINT FLAVOUR SUSPENSION is a combination of magaldrate, oxytacaine and simethicone. Magaldrate is an antacid that works by neutralising excess stomach acid. Oxetacaine is a local anaesthetic that exerts a numbing effect, thereby providing relief from pain due to ulcers or acidic injuries in the stomach. Simethicone is an antiflatulent that works by decreasing gas bubbles' surface tension, thereby facilitating gas expulsion through flatus or belching (burping). It also prevents gas accumulation and formation in the digestive tract.

ALCOHOL
