MOVAPIN 15MG contain Olanzapine which belongs to a group of medicine called antipsychotics. It is used to treat schizophrenia and mania and prevent recurrence of these symptoms in patients with bipolar disorder. Schizophrenia is a serious mental disorder in which people interpret reality abnormally resulting in some combination of hallucinations, delusions, and extremely disordered thinking and behavior that impairs daily functioning and can be disabling. Extremely elevated and excitable mood usually associated with bipolar disorder is called mania.
MOVAPIN 15MG works by affecting the levels of chemical messengers (dopamine and serotonin) to improve mood, thoughts and behavior. The most common side effects are weight gain, sleepiness, increases in levels of prolactin in the blood, dizziness, restlessness, tremor, constipation, dry mouth. This medicine is strictly not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years. Before taking this medicine tell your doctor if you have ever had kidney disease, heart disease, liver problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine.

Always take MOVAPIN 15MG exactly as your doctor has told you. This medicine must be taken with or without food. Try to take this medicine at the same time each day. It should be swallowed whole with water. Do not crush or chew the medicine.
Dizziness:
Get up and move around to feel awake, take small naps to edge off the sleepiness. Give your eyes a break to avoid fatigue and eat a healthy food to boost energy.
Constipation:
Take fibre rich foods such as fresh fruit, vegetables and cereals, and drink plenty of water. Exercise more regularly.
Dry mouth:
Chew sugar-free gum. Control caffeine intake. Do not use mouthwashes. Sip water regularly.
Fever:
Drink plenty of fluids and water. Avoid taking cold bath or showers.

Do not drive or operate any machine while taking this medicine since it may cause drowsiness.

Do not take MOVAPIN 15MG if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Olanzapine or any other ingredients in this medicine.
