Talk to your doctor before taking MONTEK AB, If you:
- are allergic to Acebrophylline and Montelukast or any other ingredient in MONTEK AB
- have difficulty swallowing or chest tightness
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- The dose may vary depending upon the age and individual patient conditions
If you take more MONTEK AB
- If you take more consult your doctor immediately
If you forget to take MONTEK AB
- Take it as soon as you remember it. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you stop taking MONTEK AB
- Without doctor advice don't stop taking MONTEK AB
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

- tiredness
- fever, cough, stuffy nose
- upper respiratory infection
- dizziness, headache
- increased bleeding tendency
- allergic reactions including swelling of the face, lips, tongue, and/or throat (which may cause trouble breathing or swallowing), hives and itching
- drowsiness, seizures (convulsions or fits)
- palpitations
- nose bleed
- inflammation of the pancreas
- hepatitis
- bruising
- joint pain, muscle aches and muscle cramps
- swelling
- behavior and mood-related changes
