How to take MEFAST SUSPENSION?

How MEFAST SUSPENSION works on my body?
MEFAST SUSPENSION works by blocking certain chemicals called prostaglandins in the body thus relieves pain, redness and swelling caused due to inflammatory conditions of the body.
Can MEFAST SUSPENSION taken along with alcohol?
No. You are not advised to consume alcohol while taking MEFAST SUSPENSION because it may increase your risk of stomach bleeding.
Is MEFAST SUSPENSION advised to be taken during pregnancy?
MEFAST SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in pregnant women particularly in the last 3 months of pregnancy as they may delay the onset of labour and prolong its duration. It may also cause bleeding in mother and the baby. Consult your doctor to check whether you can take this medicine during the first 6 months of pregnancy.
Can MEFAST SUSPENSION be taken more than the recommended dose?
No. Do not take a higher dose of MEFAST SUSPENSION without consulting your doctor. Taking a higher dose of MEFAST SUSPENSION may cause affect your stomach and kidneys. You may also get seizures (fits). Symptoms of taking higher dose of MEFAST SUSPENSION include headache, abdominal pain or other abnormal stomach symptoms, nausea, vomiting. Talk to your doctor right away if you accidently took higher dose of medicine.
Does MEFAST SUSPENSION affects my mensural bleeding?
MEFAST SUSPENSION is used to relieve pain that happens before or during a menstrual period. It will not stop periods or bleeding. Consult your doctor regarding its dose and usage during mensural pain.
Is MEFAST SUSPENSION advised to be taken for children?
Your doctor will give the right dose depends on your child’s age, body weight and disease condition. Consult your doctor for advice before taking MEFAST SUSPENSION.
