INTRODUCTION
MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET is a combination of Nimesulide and Paracetamol which belongs to the group of medicines called Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory drugs. MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET is used to provide relief from inflammation and pain in conditions such as headache, mild migraine, muscle pain, dental pain, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, and/or painful menses in affected individuals.
MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe liver disease, and/or severe kidney disease. Before taking MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET, inform your doctor if you are alcohol dependent, and/or have other kidney problems, and/or heart problems such as heart failure.
MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET is not recommended for use during pregnancy and in breastfeeding women. It is also not recommended for use in children (aged below 12 years). MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged above 65 years) after consulting the doctor.
The most common side effects of MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET are dizziness, excess sleepiness, stomach upset, nausea, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea, and/or peripheral oedema (swelling in legs/arms). Consult your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.

- Provides relief from inflammation and pain in conditions (such as headache, mild migraine, muscle pain, dental pain, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, and/or painful menses) in affected individuals
HOW MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET WORKS
MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET provides relief from pain and inflammation, where nimesulide and paracetamol act by blocking the action of prostaglandin (chemical messengers responsible for pain and inflammation) resulting in reduced inflammation and providing relief from pain in affected individuals.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Take MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
SIDE EFFECTS OF MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET
COMMON
- dizziness, excess sleepiness
- stomach upset, nausea, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea
- peripheral oedema (swelling in legs/arms)
- signs of hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rash, red itchy welts, itching, shortness of breath
RARE
Stop taking MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
- Signs of severe allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, swelling of the mouth/face, and/or shortness of breath
- Skin rash/peeling, mouth ulcers
- Breathing problems, unexplained bruising/bleeding
- Signs of impaired liver function such as nausea, sudden weight loss, loss of appetite and yellowing of the eyes and skin
HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS
Diarrhea
Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. Try to avoid taking any medicine on your own to treat diarrhea. Consult your doctor and inform them if the symptom gets worse.
Dizziness Or Drowsiness
Try to rest and get enough sleep. Try to avoid driving or operating any tools or machines while you feel dizzy. Limit consumption of alcohol, as it can aggravate dizziness. Consult and inform your doctor if the symptom worsens.
Nausea And Vomiting
Try to take MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET with or just after a meal or a snack. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating rich or spicy food. Consult your doctor if symptom gets worse.

PREGNANCY
ContraindicatedMAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before taking MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET.
BREASTFEEDING
ContraindicatedMAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET is not recommended for use in breast feeding women. Consult your doctor before taking MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET.
DRIVING AND USING MACHINES
Use with CautionDo not drive or operate any machines if you feel dizzy, drowsy, and/or sleepy after taking MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET.
ALCOHOL
Consult your doctorAvoid consumption of alcohol while taking MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET because it might cause liver damage.
KIDNEY
Consult your doctorMAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLETis not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney disease, and/or analgesic nephropathy. It should be used with caution in patients with other kidney problems. Consult your doctor before taking MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET.
LIVER
ContraindicatedMAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET is not recommended in patients with liver disease. Consult your doctor before taking MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET.
ALLERGY
ContraindicatedDo not take MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET if you are allergic to Nimesulide, Paracetamol, other NSAIDS, and/or other ingredients of this medicine.
HEART DISEASE
Use with CautionMAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET should be used with caution in patients with heart failure. Consult your doctor before taking MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET.
USE IN PEDIATRICS
ContraindicatedMAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET is not recommended for use in children (aged below 12 years). Consult your doctor before administering the medicine to the child.
USE IN GERIATRICS

INTERACTIONS
A. Drug-Drug interactions:
Before taking MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine:
- Anticoagulants (medicines used to prevent blood clotting) Ex. warfarin
- Cholestyramine (medicine used to lower high cholesterol levels)
- Metoclopramide, domperidone (medicines used to treat nausea and vomiting)
B. Drug - Food interaction:
Avoid consumption of foods containing caffeine, and/or drinks such as tea, chocolate, coffee since it leads to excessive dizziness and sleepiness.
Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally took more of MAXXSULIDE PLUS GOLDEN TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.
