LOFECAM 8MG contains Lornoxicam which belongs to a group of medicines called Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and Anti-rheumatic drug of the oxicam class. It is used for short term treatment of mild to moderate pain when oral administration is not possible (Ex. after dental surgery).
Lornoxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug with analgesic properties. It is related to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis (inhibition of cyclooxygenase enzyme), leading to desensitisation of peripheral nociceptors and consequently inhibition of inflammation.
This medicine will be administered by your physician or nurse. Before receiving this LOFECAM 8MG inform your doctor if you have history of stomach ulcers, heart diseases, high blood pressure, diseases related to liver or kidney.
