LEVAZEO 25MG TABLET contains Levosulpiride which belongs to the group of medicines called Prokinetic agents. It is used to treat nausea, vomiting and indigestion. It can also be used to treat diabetic gastroparesis.
Diabetic gastroparesis is a stomach condition caused due to poorly controlled diabetes. It prevents the stomach muscles from emptying its digested contents into the intestines. This creates a feeling of fullness even after eating only a little amount of food along with nausea and lack of appetite.
Before taking LEVAZEO 25MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have epilepsy, mania or any other mental illness as a precaution.
LEVAZEO 25MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients having bleeding or any blockage or tear in the gut. It is also not suitable for use in patients having cancer or tumours in the body. Do not take LEVAZEO 25MG TABLET without consulting your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
The most common side effects of taking LEVAZEO 25MG TABLET are headache, drowsiness, tiredness, breast enlargement and discharge and decrease in sex drive. Consult your doctor if any of these side effect bothers you.

LEVAZEO 25MG TABLET is a prokinetic medicine with anti-emetic and anti-dyspeptic properties. It acts by blocking the actions of certain chemical messengers (dopamine) in the brain that controls the movement of stomach muscles. This action improves muscle movement in the stomach (gastric motility) and reduces the unpleasant symptoms of GI tract (such as nausea, vomiting, indigestion, sensation of fullness and lack of appetite).
Take LEVAZEO 25MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine.
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Do not stop taking LEVAZEO 25MG TABLET unless your doctor advice you to stop.
Stop taking LEVAZEO 25MG TABLET and inform your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects such as:
Headache:
Rest and relax. Keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids such as water or electrolytes. Applying a pain-relieving balm on your forehead can be beneficial. Do not consume excessive alcohol, as it could aggravate your headache. Consult your doctor if your headache worsens.
Drowsiness:
Try to rest and relax. Get enough sleep. Avoid driving or operating any tools or machines completely while you are feeling drowsy. Do not consume excessive alcohol, as it could aggravate your drowsiness. Consult your doctor if your drowsiness worsens.
LEVAZEO 25MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.

Do not drive or operate any heavy tools or machines if you feel drowsy after taking LEVAZEO 25MG TABLET.
