FAQs ABOUT KERIZOLE CREAM

How often should I apply KERIZOLE CREAM?

Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of KERIZOLE CREAM for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Depending on the infection type, treatment may last 2 to 6 weeks. Do not apply it for more duration than advised by your doctor.

What if I swallow KERIZOLE CREAM?

Accidental swallowing of small quantities of KERIZOLE CREAM is usually harmless but, consult your doctor immediately if you or anyone else swallow it. Take the medicine with you for the doctor to know what you have ingested.

How do I apply KERIZOLE CREAM?

Apply KERIZOLE CREAM as directed by your physician. Wash the infected area and dry it properly. Keep a towel and a flannel for your personal use to prevent infecting anyone else. Apply the medicine gently into the affected area and surrounding skin with clean fingers. Clothing which touches the infected areas should be washed and changed frequently. Consult your doctor if you have any doubts regarding its use.

What if I forget to apply KERIZOLE CREAM?

If you forget to apply KERIZOLE CREAM, use as per the directions next time you apply it. Do not use the medicine two times to make up for the missed dose.

Can I stop applying KERIZOLE CREAM?

Continue using the medicine until a few days after all symptoms have completely disappeared. Can I use other medicines with KERIZOLE CREAM for my skin condition?

Before using KERIZOLE CREAM, inform your doctor if you are taking, have taken, or might take any other medicine, including prescription, over the counter or any herbal medicine. If you have been regularly using a lotion or cream, containing a steroid (Ex. betamethasone or hydrocortisone) for your skin condition, you should wait for two weeks before starting treatment with KERIZOLE CREAM. This will stop your condition flaring up while KERIZOLE CREAM starts to work. If you have any queries about stopping your steroid lotion or cream, consult your doctor.
