JONCLAV DUO DRY SYRUP contains a combination of Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to treat bacterial infections such as middle ear and sinus infections, respiratory tract infections, genital tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections such as dental infections, bone and joint infections, septic abortion (any abortion complicated by uterine infection), and abdominal infections. The symptoms of a bacterial infection may include fever, difficulty breathing, pus formation, and pain.
Do not take JONCLAV DUO DRY SYRUP if you have a history of hypersensitivity to beta-lactams, including penicillin and cephalosporins, or any other ingredients of this medicine. JONCLAV DUO DRY SYRUP is not recommended for use if you have a history of amoxicillin-clavulanate-associated jaundice or hepatic dysfunction.
Before taking JONCLAV DUO DRY SYRUP, inform your doctor if you are suffering from hepatic or renal impairment. JONCLAV DUO DRY SYRUP should be used with caution in pregnant women and only when necessary.
