What is IOPAR SR CAPSULE used for?
IOPAR SR CAPSULE is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor, which is prescribed to treat various diseases including certain types of seizures, altitude sickness, glaucoma, cystinuria, benign intracranial hypertension, and dural ectasia. IOPAR SR CAPSULE is also used to treat other conditions as determined by your health physician.
How to take IOPAR SR CAPSULE?
The dosage of IOPAR SR CAPSULE prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.
Take IOPAR SR CAPSULE with a full glass of water. It should be taken with food if it upsets your stomach.
If your physician has instructed or directed you to take IOPAR SR CAPSULE medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.
