ICPARIL 400MG contains Ibuprofen which belongs to the group of medicines called Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is used to relieve pain and inflammation in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis (juvenile rheumatoid arthritis or Still's disease), arthritis of the spine, ankylosing spondylitis, swollen joints, frozen shoulder, bursitis, tendinitis, tenosynovitis, lower back pain, sprains and strains. This medicine can also be used to treat other painful conditions such as toothache, pain after operations, period pain, headache and migraine.
When your body is fighting an injury or infection, it naturally releases chemicals called prostaglandins which lead to fever, swelling and discomfort. ICPARIL 400MG blocks the effect of prostaglandins.
Before taking ICPARIL 400MG tell your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart disease. Pregnant and breastfeeding women must consult the doctor before taking this medicine. Avoid excessive use of painkillers, tell your doctor if you are already taking another painkiller before taking this medicine. The common side effects are dizziness, tiredness, headache, diarrhea, constipation and flatulence.
ICPARIL 400MG belongs to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID’s) which works by reducing hormones that cause pain and swelling in the body.
Always take ICPARIL 400MG as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow whole, do not crush or chew. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depending on your age, body weight and severity of infection.

Dizziness:
When you feel dizzy, sit or lie down immediately with your eyes closed and rest until the dizziness subsides. Drink plenty of water.
Constipation:
Take fruits, vegetables whole grains and high fiber rich foods.
Headache:
Rest and drink plenty of fluids. Apply a warm or cold cloth on forehead and rest in a quiet, comfortable, dark room.
Diarrhoea:
Drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration.
Flatulence (wind):
Take small meals, drink slowly and exercise regularly.
ICPARIL 400MG is not recommended in late (last three months of) pregnancy and can be taken in the first six months of pregnancy on the advice of your doctor.
ICPARIL 400MG is not recommended during breastfeeding. Consult your doctor for advice.
Do not drive or handle any machines if you experience dizziness or drowsiness while taking this medicine.
Do not consume alcohol while taking this medicine as it may cause dizziness, drowsiness and stomach problems such as bleeding in the stomach.
ICPARIL 400MG should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Consult your doctor for advice.
