What is GRAMONEG Tablet used for?

GRAMONEG Tablet is used for the treatment of urinary tract infections caused due toKlebsiella, SalmonellaandProteusspecies.

GRAMONEG Tablet may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

How does GRAMONEG Tablet work?

GRAMONEG Tablet belongs to the class of drugs called quinolone antibiotics. This drug works by killing the pathogenic microorganisms by stopping the production of essential proteins required for its growth and survival.

How to take GRAMONEG Tablet?

The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take GRAMONEG Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.

  • Swallow the whole tablet. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Take the drug with or without food. However, taking the drug with food prevents stomach upset.
  • Shake the suspension well before taking each dose to ensure the uniform mixing of the medicine. Use a measuring cup while taking each dose.

If you miss a dose of GRAMONEG Tablet, please take it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
