Talk to your doctor before applying GLINTRA A GEL, if you:
- are allergic to GLINTRA A GEL or any of the ingredients of this medicine
- have other skin problems, including cuts or sunburn
- have any other skin conditions
Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements especially if you are using:
- topical medicines that contain sulfur, resorcinol or salicylic acid, alpha hydroxy or glycolic acid
- using or any other topical preparation such as erythromycin metronidazole or aminoglycosides
- Always apply this gel exactly as your doctor has told you
- You should use GLINTRA A GEL once a day. Wash as normal, rinse well and pat your skin dry
- Apply a small amount of gel in a thin layer to the whole of the area where you usually get the spots
- It should be used for a maximum of 12 weeks
- You may need to use more than one tube of GLINTRA A GEL during each course of treatment
- Try not to pick or squeeze spots as this can make your acne worse and even lead to scarring
- Do not use GLINTRA A GEL in or on your mouth, eyes or vagina
- It can make your skin sensitive to sun and the light from tanning beds and sunlamps
If you use more GLINTRA A GEL
- If you apply too much GLINTRA A GEL just wash your treated skin with plenty of water. There may be a chance of increase in skin irritation, contact your doctor or your local hospital
If you forget to use GLINTRA A GEL
- Use it as soon as you remember and then continue to use as your doctor has told you. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a forgotten application
If you stop using GLINTRA A GEL
- If you stop applying too soon your infection may come back again or get worse
- Do not stop taking GLINTRA A GEL unless your doctor tells you to do so
Like all medicines, the medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Adapalene:
- redness or dryness of the skin
- stinging or burning sensation in the skin
Adapalene:
- skin peeling
- sunburn
Clindamycin:
- dry skin
- redness of the skin
- skin burning
- irritation around eyes
- worsening of acne
- itchy skin
