It is used to treat bacterial infections such as middle ear and sinus infections, respiratory tract infections, genital tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections such as dental infections, bone and joint infections, septic abortion (any abortion complicated by uterine infection), and abdominal infections. The symptoms of a bacterial infection may include fever, difficulty breathing, pus formation, and pain.
Do not take GENOMOX CV DRY SYRUP if you have a history of hypersensitivity to beta-lactams, including penicillin and cephalosporins, or any other ingredients of this medicine. GENOMOX CV DRY SYRUP is not recommended for use if you have a history of amoxicillin-clavulanate-associated jaundice or hepatic dysfunction.

GENOMOX CV DRY SYRUP helps in treating bacterial infection where amoxicillin is a penicillin that works by inhibiting the enzymes that help in the synthesis of an integral structural component of the bacterial cell wall whereas clavulanic acid is a beta-lactam (structurally related to penicillin) that works by inactivating an enzyme, namely beta-lactamase, thereby preventing the inactivation of amoxicillin.

- Stevens-Johnson syndrome (widespread rash with blistering and skin peeling)
- exanthemous pustulosis (widespread red rash with blisters containing pus)
- bullous exfoliative dermatitis (itchy, red, scaly rash with bumps & blisters)
- signs of drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms such as flu-like symptoms, rashes, fever, and swelling in glands
- inflammation of the liver (hepatitis)
- jaundice
- severe diarrhoea

Diarrhea
Drink lots of fluids, such as water to keep yourself hydrated. Try to avoid taking any medicine on your own to treat diarrhoea and consult your doctor if the symptom gets worse.
Nausea And Vomiting
