What GATILOX 400MG is used for?

  • It is used to treat lung, sinus, skin, or urinary tract infections, and also to treat certain sexually transmitted diseases caused by germs called bacteria

 Talk to your Doctor, if you

  • are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine
  • are being treated for any heart disease
  • have a condition known as hypokalemia (low blood potassium)
  • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine
  • It is not recommended for the children
  • It usually cause nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, dizziness, and headache. So, avoid driving or operating machinery while taking GATILOX 400MG

 Tell your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription. Especially the following:

  • cisapride, erythromycin, some antidepressants, and some antipsychotic drugs
  • diuretics such as furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide
  • medication for diabetes
  • antacids and multivitamins
  • quinidine, procainamide, amiodarone, or sotalol
  • antibiotics such as (ciprofloxacin) or (levofloxacin)
  • It is given only by the doctor or nurse
  • It is administrated intravenously

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects although not everybody gets them.

Very Rare
  • heart palpitations (fast beating) or have fainting spells
  • high blood sugar (hyperglycemia) and low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)
Additional Information
  • Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children
  • Store at a room temperature of 15-25°C
