In GALVUS MET 50mg/1gm Tablet, Metformin belongs to a class of drugs called anti-diabetic drugs. It controls the blood glucose levels in the body by restoring the body’s ability to use insulin. It also reduces the absorption of glucose from the intestine and decreases the production of glucose in the liver.

Vildagliptin belongs to the class of drugs called anti-diabetics. It works by increasing the production of insulin, which in turn lowers the blood glucose levels.
