FUSIBID H CREAM is a combination of Fusidic acid and Hydrocortisone which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics and Corticosteroids respectively. It is used to treat conditions where the skin is inflamed (eczema or dermatitis) and infected or to prevent infection by bacteria.
Eczema or dermatitis is a term for several different types of skin swelling that cause dry, itchy skin and rashes on the face, elbows, behind the knees, and on the hands and feet. Scratching the skin can cause it to swell and itch even more, and may turn red.
During course of the treatment your doctor might regularly examine your skin to avoid any untoward side effects.
Avoid smoking while using FUSIBID H CREAM. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose for your child depending on age, body weight and severity of infection.
Before using FUSIBID H CREAM, inform your doctor if you have skin conditions like acne rosacea, perioral dermatitis, skin conditions caused by tuberculosis or syphilis, boils, spots, cold sores, chickenpox, or athlete’s foot.
FUSIBID H CREAM is not recommended for use in pregnant women for a long time or in large amounts. FUSIBID H CREAM should be used with caution in breastfeeding women.
The most common side effects of using FUSIBID H CREAM are itching, burning, or irritation. Contact your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.

FUSIBID H CREAM treats affected skin where Fusidic acid works against the bacteria by interfering with their protein synthesis. Hydrocortisone reduces swelling, redness, or itchiness of your skin by decreasing relaxation and permeability of vessels, as well as leukocyte migration to sites of inflammation.
Apply FUSIBID H CREAM as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and severity of infection.
Stop using FUSIBID H CREAM and consult your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:

Q: For how long can I use FUSIBID H CREAM?
A: Use FUSIBID H CREAM for as long as your doctor advises you to. If you use it over a long time or in large amounts it may increase your chances of getting side effects, and your skin may get more sensitive to the medicine. You should not use it for a long time on your face.
Q: What special precautions should I take while using FUSIBID H CREAM?
A: Take special care if you are going to use FUSIBID H CREAM near your eyes. Unless your doctor has told you to, you must not use it on open wounds or areas like the nostrils, ears, lips, genitals, thin skin, skin ulcers, broken veins, or acne. Consult your doctor in case of any concerns.
Q: What if I accidently get FUSIBID H CREAM in my eye?
A: If you accidentally get FUSIBID H CREAM in your eye, immediately wash it out with cold water. You may feel stinging in your eye. If you begin to have any problems with your sight or your eye is hurting, contact your doctor immediately.
Q: Can I stop using FUSIBID H CREAM?
A: Do not stop using FUSIBID H CREAM unless your doctor advises you to stop. Only if you feel any unusual effects after using this medicine, or if there is no improvement after 7 days, you should stop using it and go back to your doctor.
Q: What if I miss a dose of FUSIBID H CREAM?
A: If you forget to apply a dose of FUSIBID H CREAM, use it as soon as you remember and continue your treatment as per the prescribed schedule. If you have any more doubts regarding the use of this medicine, ask your doctor.
