A: FUDIC BNF CREAM is a combination of Beclomethasone and Fusidic acid which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids and Antibiotics respectively. It is used to treat specific skin infections caused by typical bacteria such as impetigo, folliculitis, eczema and seborrehic dermatitis.
Q: Can I use FUDIC BNF CREAM for wounds?
A: FUDIC BNF CREAM is not intended to treat wounds. Beclomethasone is a corticosteroid which is present in FUDIC BNF CREAM works by reducing the inflammation and relieves symptoms like itching, redness, irritation and swelling by blocking the enzymes responsible for causing it (prostaglandins and leukotrienes). Fusidic acid prevents the further growth of bacteria rather than directly destroying the bacteria.
Q: Can we use FUDIC BNF CREAM for children?
A: Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depends on your child’s age, body weight and severity of the infection. Consult your doctor before using FUDIC BNF CREAM.

A: No, do not use FUDIC BNF CREAM without consulting your doctor. Avoid using it for other infections as it may cause other serious effects.
Q: What should I do if I accidentally applied FUDIC BNF CREAM on my eyes?
A: If you accidentally applied FUDIC BNF CREAM in your eye, wash it out with cold water. You may have stinging sensation in your eye. If you experience problems with your eyesight or soreness, contact your doctor immediately.
Q: What are the precautions to be taken while using FUDIC BNF CREAM?
A: Do not use FUDIC BNF CREAM for a long time, continuously. Do not use a large amount of FUDIC BNF CREAM (follow your doctor’s instructions). Do not use FUDIC BNF CREAM on open wounds or nose or mouth.
Q: Who should not use FUDIC BNF CREAM?
A: FUDIC BNF CREAM is not recommended for use if you have skin infections like fungal infections, such as athlete’s foot, ringworm, viral infections such as cold sores, chicken pox, bacterial infections such as boils or spots, skin diseases caused by tuberculosis or syphilis, perioral dermatitis (red spotty rash near mouth or chin), rosacea (redness and inflammation in nose and cheeks) and other rashes where you received vaccination.
