It is used to treat bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections, lower respiratory tract infections, bacteremia, septicaemia, meningitis, abdominal infections and infections caused by pseudomonas species. FILET 1000MG INJECTION is also used to prevent infections, before and after surgery.
Can FILET 1000MG INJECTION be given to breastfeeding mothers?
FILET 1000MG INJECTION should be used with caution as it may pass into the breast milk. Consult your doctor before receiving. It should only be given if the expected benefits outweigh any potential risk to the baby.
Can FILET 1000MG INJECTION cause diarrhoea?
Yes, FILET 1000MG INJECTION may cause diarrhea during or after use. Usually, discontinuation of medicine can subside diarrhea. However, if diarrhea persists or if there is blood in the stool then immediately consult your doctor.
In what condition FILET 1000MG INJECTION should be avoided?
Before receiving FILET 1000MG INJECTION tell your doctor if you have a history of kidney, liver, heart disease or allergic to ceftriaxone or to any other cephalosporin antibiotics.
