FEVANEX 250 STRAWBERRY AND VANNILA FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION contains Paracetamol which belongs to the group of medicines called Analgesics and Antipyretics. It is used to relieve mild to moderate pain like headache, migraine, nerve pain, toothache, sore throat, period pains, teething, immunisation, earache, and general aches and pains. It can also be used to treat fever (high temperature), and symptoms of cold or flu.
Before taking FEVANEX 250 STRAWBERRY AND VANNILA FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, fructose intolerance, Gilberts syndrome, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, hemolytic anaemia, reduced glutathione levels, malnourishment, dehydration or if you weigh less than 50 kg.
FEVANEX 250 STRAWBERRY AND VANNILA FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION should be used in pregnant women only if considered necessary. Avoid consumption of alcohol during treatment with FEVANEX 250 STRAWBERRY AND VANNILA FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION, as it might make you more prone to side effects.
FEVANEX 250 STRAWBERRY AND VANNILA FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in children (2-3 months old, weighing less than 4 kg or born before 37 weeks). Contact your doctor if you get any side effects of any of the symptoms get worse.

FEVANEX 250 STRAWBERRY AND VANNILA FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION relieves pain by increasing the pain threshold by inhibiting certain enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) involved in synthesis of chemicals responsible for inducing pain (prostaglandins). It reduces fever by directly acting on heat-regulating centers in the brain, resulting in vessel relaxation, sweating, and loss of body heat.

ALLERGY
Do not take FEVANEX 250 STRAWBERRY AND VANNILA FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION if you are allergic to Paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
OTHERS
Before taking FEVANEX 250 STRAWBERRY AND VANNILA FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you:
- have fructose intolerance or any other type of sugar intolerance
- have sepsis (circulation of bacteria and their toxins in the blood leading to organ damage)
- are malnourished
- are glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficient (enzyme deficiency)
- have haemolytic anaemia (decreased red blood cells which can make the skin pale yellow and cause weakness or breathlessness)
- have reduced glutathione levels
- are dehydrated or weigh less than 50 kg
