Q: Can FERONOM TABLET be given to children?

Q: What if I forget to take a dose of FERONOM TABLET?
A: If you forget to take a dose of FERONOM TABLET, take it as soon as you remember. However, omit the missed dose if it's almost time for the next one. Do not take FERONOM TABLET twice to make up for the missed dose.
Q: Can I stop taking FERONOM TABLET on my own?
A: Continue taking FERONOM TABLET until your doctor tells you to stop, unless you experience any unwanted effects, a worsening of your condition or any new symptoms. Contact your doctor in such a case.
Q: How should FERONOM TABLET be taken? Can it be crushed?
A: No. Do not break, crush or chew FERONOM TABLET. Take it as advised by your physician. Swallow it with a glass of water. Your doctor will determine the correct dose and duration of FERONOM TABLET for you based on your age, body weight and disease condition.
Q: What is FERONOM TABLET used for?
A: FERONOM TABLET is used to treat iron deficiency anaemia. Iron deficiency anaemia occurs when your body can't produce enough haemoglobin (a substance in red blood cells that enables them to carry oxygen) due to insufficient iron.
Q: Can FERONOM TABLET cause stomach pain?
A: Stomach pain is a common side effect of FERONOM TABLET. In such cases, try to rest and relax. Eat and drink slowly or try to eat smaller meals more frequently. Keep a heating pad on your stomach. If your stomach still aches, contact your doctor.
Q: What should I tell my doctor before taking FERONOM TABLET?
A: Patients taking FERONOM TABLET must notify their doctor if they have any pre-existing conditions, such as untreated cobalamin deficiency, Addisonian pernicious anaemia, malignant disease (except megaloblastic anaemia), haemochromatosis, hemoglobinopathies, any gastrointestinal diseases, anaemias other than those caused by iron deficiency or if they are receiving repeated blood transfusions. Patients should also inform their doctors if they are pregnant, nursing, allergic to anything, undergoing repeated blood transfusions or receiving parenteral iron therapy. Consult your doctor if you experience anything different.
Q: Can FERONOM TABLET be taken during pregnancy?
A: FERONOM TABLET is safe to use during pregnancy, but if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or are planning to get pregnant, consult your doctor before taking it. Inform your doctor immediately if you become pregnant during treatment with FERONOM TABLET.
Q: Can I take other medicines with FERONOM TABLET?
A: Before taking FERONOM TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking, have taken or might take any other medicine, including prescription, over-the-counter or any herbal medicine, as these might interact with each other and cause serious side effects.
