Felizma Tablet is a dietary supplement that is used in conditions such as diabetic peripheral neuropathy (nerve pain due to high blood sugar levels) and endothelial dysfunction (coronary artery disease), and/or hyperhomocysteinemia (elevated levels of homocysteine, an amino acid in the blood) who present with lower extremity ulcerations.
It contains Methylcobalamine, L-Methylfolate Calcium, and Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate as the active ingredients that promote nerve health and generation of methionine, an antioxidant.
L-methylfolate is the primary biologically active isomer of folic acid. It aids in preventing folate deficiency and neural tube defects in foetuses. It also enhances the production of healthy RBCs and DNA synthesis.
Methylcobalamine enhances protein synthesis in nerve cells, and promotes myelinization and axonal regeneration, thus improving nerve health. It also helps in the generation of the enzyme methionine synthase which aids in the regeneration of methionine (an antioxidant) from homocysteine. Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate also supports nerve health and helps in overcoming nerve injuries.
Always take Felizma Tablet as advised by the physician. Swallow Felizma Tablet with a glass of water, do not crush, chew, or break the tablet. Do not exceed the daily stated dosages of Felizma Tablet.
