What FASTOVORIN 50MG is used for?
FASTOVORIN 50MG is used to:
- diminish the toxicity and counteract the effect of impaired elimination of folic acid antagonists
- treat the megaloblastic anemias due to folate deficiency
- megaloblastic anemias of pregnancy and infancy
- treat advanced colorectal carcinoma in combination with 5-fluorouracil

- have megaloblasic anaemia due to Vitamin B12 deficiency

- Consult your doctor for advice
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
- cytotoxic drugs (hydroxycarbamide cytarabine, mercaptopurine, thioguanine)
- phenobarbital, primidone, phenytoin and succinimides (used to treat epilepsy)
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- FASTOVORIN 50MG will be given to you by your doctor or nurse
