- FALCINA is usually given by a doctor or nurse
- It may be injected intravenously (into a vein) or intramuscularly (into a muscle)
If you give more FALCINA
- It will be given to you in a hospital, under the supervision of a doctor. It is unlikely that you will be given too much or too little, however, tell your doctor or nurse if you have any concerns
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
- dizziness, nausea, vomiting
- light-headedness, headache, sleeplessness, hearing problems
- flu-like effects (fever, tiredness, bone and muscle pain)
- cough, altered taste
- abdominal pain, diarrhoea
- rash, and pain at injection site
- anemia (low red blood cell count)
- neutropenia (low white blood cell count)
- reduction in platelets (which are important for blood clotting) and allergic reactions
- inflammation of the liver (hepatitis, with yellowing of eyes and skin)
- inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis)
- severe reduction in red blood cells, tingling sensation and nerve pain
- Keep this medicine out of reach of children
- Store at a room temperature of 15-25°C
