INTRODUCTION
FAG-M Capsule is a nutritional supplement used to treat anaemia caused by low levels of iron or folate in the blood. Also, used during pregnancy to prevent and treat low blood levels of iron and supply of folic acid in the body. It contains cholecalciferol, ferrous asparto glycinate, L-methylfolate, mecobalamin and pyridoxal-5-phosphate to treat anaemia.
Cholecalciferol may be protective for anaemia by supporting erythropoiesis. Ferrous asparto glycinate restores iron levels in the body and helps in the production of red blood cells. L-methylfolate, mecobalamin and pyridoxal-5-phosphate acts as a co-factor in carrying out various biochemical reactions in the body as well as conversion of homocysteine into methionine (an essential amino acid) and helps in the formation new red blood cells.
Always take FAG-M Capsule as advised by the doctor. Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water and do not chew or open the contents of the medicine. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its components.
