EVERTOR 5mg Tablet is used to prevent the rejection of transplanted organ in patients who have undergone a kidney, liver or heart transplant. Transplant rejection occurs when the organ recipient’s immune system attacks the transplanted organ.
EVERTOR 5mg Tablet helps prevent transplant rejection by suppressing the immune system. EVERTOR 5mg Tablet belongs to the group of drugs called anti-rejection medications. EVERTOR 5mg Tablet is used in combination with other medicines to prevent transplant rejection in organ transplant patients. EVERTOR 5mg Tablet may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
How to take EVERTOR 5mg Tablet?
The dosage of EVERTOR 5mg Tablet may vary based on the patient’s age, gender, body weight, medical condition and response to treatment. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.
Swallow the EVERTOR 5mg Tablet tablets whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush or chew the EVERTOR 5mg Tablet tablets.
Always take EVERTOR 5mg Tablet tablets in the same way everyday, either with or without food.
To note:Do not take EVERTOR 5mg Tablet with grapefruit juice.
If your physician has instructed or directed you to take EVERTOR 5mg Tablet medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses to catch up for the missed dose.

EVERTOR 5mg Tablet can interact with the following types of medicines: antibiotics, antifungal medicines, high blood pressure medicines, heart medicines, epilepsy medicines, HIV/AIDS medicines and cholesterol-lowering medications. Avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice as well.
