ERADIF C LOTION contains Clotrimazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungals. Ringworm is a fungal infection affecting the skin and causing redness and itching.
An athlete’s foot is a fungal infection affecting the spaces between the toes. Fungal intertrigo is inflammation caused by skin-to-skin friction in warm, moist areas of the body (groin, between folds of skin on the abdomen, under the breasts, arms or between toes).Clotrimazole works by preventing fungal growth by blocking the production of enzymes responsible for the growth of the fungal cell.
ERADIF C LOTION is not recommended for use in patients allergic to this medicine. ERADIF C LOTION should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women. The common side effects of ERADIF C LOTION are itching, rash, blisters, burning, discomfort, swelling, irritation, redness and peeling of the skin. Consult your doctor if symptoms get worse or persist.
ERADIF C LOTION acts by specifically inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol and other sterols (enzymes) required for cell membrane production, therefore inhibiting the division and growth of fungi eventually leading to cell death.

Your doctor will decide the right dose and duration for you depending on your age and disease condition.
