INTRODUCTION

EPRISAN 50MG TABLET contains Eperisone, which belongs to the group of medicines called Muscle Relaxants. It is used to treat and improve the myotonic condition of the muscles caused by neck-shoulder arm syndrome (a condition causing muscle pain and stiffness in the neck, arm, and shoulder region), scapulohumeral periarthritis (a condition causing muscle pain and stiffness in the shoulder joint), and low back pain (a painful condition affecting the lower region of the spine due to a muscle or ligament injury).

The myotonic condition causes wasting and weakness of the muscle when its functional ability to relax is impaired. It is also used to treat spastic paralysis (loss of muscle function along with pain and muscle stiffness) caused by a spinal or neurological disorder, trauma, cerebral palsy, tumour in the spine, etc.

EPRISAN 50MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with liver function disorders. EPRISAN 50MG TABLET is generally not recommended for use during pregnancy unless recommended by your doctor. EPRISAN 50MG TABLET is not recommended for use by breastfeeding women. Its safety and efficiency for use in children have not been established. Consult your doctor for advice before taking EPRISAN 50MG TABLET.

The most common side effects of taking EPRISAN 50MG TABLET may include weakness, light-headedness, fatigue, sleepiness, insomnia, headache, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, and thirst. Consult your doctor if any of the above side effects worsen or persist.
