What EMVOID is used for?

  • It is used with other medicines that treat nausea and vomiting in adults caused by certain anti-cancer (chemotherapy) medicines

Talk to your Doctor, if you:

  • are allergic to aprepitant or any of the ingredients in this medicine
  • having liver problems
  •  If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

  •  pimozide (used to reduce uncontrolled movements)
  • EMVOID will be administered intravenous (IV) infusion by doctor or nurse

If you receive more EMVOID

  • Your doctor or nurse will give you EMVOID, so it is unlikely that you will receive too much. If you think you have been given too much, tell your doctor or nurse

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

  • Infusion-site side effects: pain, hardening, redness or itching, swelling (inflammation) of a vein caused by a blood clot
