What is EMCORT S CREAM used for?
EMCORT S CREAM is used to treat psoriasis in adults and adolescents (above 12 years of age) which is a type of skin disease that causes a skin rash with itchy, scaly patches, most commonly seen on the knees, elbows, trunk and scalp.
What happens if you suddenly stop EMCORT S CREAM?
Do not use EMCORT S CREAM twice to make up for a forgotten dose. Make up for the dose you forgot as soon as possible, and then continue treatment at the regularly scheduled intervals. Consult your doctor before applying EMCORT S CREAM if you are uncertain about the forgotten dose.
Who should avoid using EMCORT S CREAM?
EMCORT S CREAM is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Mometasone and Salicylic acid and/or have bacterial infection such as pyoderma (pus-producing skin disease), syphilis (sexually transmited bacterial disease), tuberculosis, viral infections such as herpes simplex, chicken pox, fungal infections such as dermatophyte, yeast and rosacea (type of skin disease) marked by reddens and or other changes of the skin in the facial area.
Is EMCORT S CREAM safe to be used in pregnant women?
EMCORT S CREAM is not recommended for use during the last three months of pregnancy and it should be avoided during the first six months of pregnancy. Consult your doctor before using EMCORT S CREAM.
How EMCORT S CREAM should be applied on the site of infection?
Always apply EMCORT S CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. On the affected area, apply a thin layer of this medicine. It should not be applied under bandages or similar. Avoid applying the medicine around your eyes or mucous membrane. Your doctor will decide the duration and frequency of using this medicine depending upon severity of the condition.
