  • Your healthcare provider will tell you the right syringes to use with EGLUCENT RAPID 100iu vials
  • Use EGLUCENT RAPID 100iu exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider
  • EGLUCENT RAPID 100iu starts working faster than other insulins that contain regular human insulin
  • Inject EGLUCENT RAPID 100iu fifteen minutes or less before a meal. If you do not plan to eat within 15 minutes, delay the injection until the correct time (15 minutes before eating)
  • Check your blood sugar levels as told by your healthcare provider
  • Mix EGLUCENT RAPID 100iu well before each use. For EGLUCENT RAPID 100iu in a vial, carefully shake or rotate the vial until completely mixed. For prefilled pens, carefully follow the instructions told by your doctor. EGLUCENT RAPID 100iu should be cloudy or milky after mixing well
  • Look at EGLUCENT RAPID 100iu before each injection. If it is not evenly mixed or has solid particles or clumps in it, do not use
  • Inject your dose of EGLUCENT RAPID 100iu under the skin of your stomach area, upper arm, upper leg, or buttocks. Never inject EGLUCENT RAPID 100iu into a muscle or vein
  • Change (rotate) your injection site with each dose

If you take more EGLUCENT RAPID 100iu

  • If you take more EGLUCENT RAPID 100iu, contact your nearest hospital casualty department, since it may lead to hypoglycaemia

If you forget to take EGLUCENT RAPID 100iu

  • Do not forget the dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose

If you stop taking EGLUCENT RAPID 100iu

  • Your doctor will advise you how long to take this medicine. Do not stop using EGLUCENT RAPID 100iu without consulting your doctor
