What DIPFORM is used for?

  • It is used to reduce the redness and itchiness of certain skin problems, such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis, athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:

  • are allergic to Betamethasone and Clioquinol or to any other ingredients of this medicine
  • have severe flushing of skin on and around your nose (rosacea)
  • have spotty red rash around your mouth (perioral dermatitis)
  • have itching around your back passage or private parts
  • have infected skin
  • have itchy skin which is not inflamed
  • have chronic leg ulcer
  • have blurred vision or other visual disturbances
  • have thyroid problem
  • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine
  • DIPFORM is not recommended in children under 1 year of age


Tell your doctor if you are taking medicines such as:

  • ritonavir used for viral infections
  • itraconazole used for fungal infections
  • Always apply this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • DIPFORM can be used once or twice a day
  • DIPFORM is for use on your skin only
  • Wash your hands before and after using the cream
  • Apply a thin layer to the affected area(s) and gently rub into the skin until it has all disappeared

If you forget to apply DIPFORM

  • If you forget to apply DIPFORM, apply them as soon as possible on the same day or use it at the normal time the following day

If you stop using DIPFORM

  • Do not stop using DIPFORM without talking to your doctor first
Very Rare

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

  • generalised rash
  • skin becomes swollen
  • itching
  • burning
  • irritation or stinging
  • redness
  • swelling
  • pain, irritation



  • increased risk of infection
  • bumpy skin
  • thinning and dryness of your skin and it may also damage or wrinkle more easily
  • stretch marks may develop
  • blood vessels under the surface of your skin may become more noticeable
  • an increase or reduction in hair growth or hair loss and changes in skin colour
  • weight gain
  • delayed weight gain or slowing of growth in children
  • bones can become thin, weak and break easily
  • cloudy lens in the eye (cataract) or increased pressure in eye (glaucoma)
