INTRODUCTION

DIOFLOX SUSPENSION contains Ofloxacin, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used in children to treat bacterial infections of the eyes, ears, nose, throat, lungs, skin and urinary tract. Bacterial infections are generally characterized by fever, extreme tiredness, swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, groin or elsewhere, headache, nausea or vomiting.

Ofloxacin works by binding to and inhibiting bacterial enzymes required in DNA synthesis, thus interrupting DNA replication and preventing bacterial cell multiplication.
