Digipen Junior Syrup is a palatable preparation of digestive enzymes that are used to prevent or treat indigestion, flatulence, anorexia, meteorism, pancreatic insufficiency, heartburn, bloating, indigestion associated with chronic alcoholism and smoking, abdominal gas, pain and constipation. It contains alpha amylase and papain as active ingredients to enhance digestion of food.
Alpha amylase catalyses the breakdown of starch and polysaccharides present in the food. Papain catalyses the breakdown of proteins, thereby together both these enzymes help in getting rid of indigestion and associated discomfort such as gaseous distension and gripping pain.
Always take Digipen Junior Syrup as advised by the doctor. Shake well before use. Use a measuring cup or a spoon to properly measure the dose. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its components.
