Talk to your before using this medicine, if you:

  • are allergic to salicylic acid, lactic acid or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • have warts on your face, around your back passage or genitals
  • have moles, birthmarks, warts with hair growing from them or other sensitive areas
  • have some area of skin irritated, reddened or infected
  • have diabetes
  • have any viral infection

  • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine

  • DERSOL L SOLUTION is not recommended for use in children under 2 years of age

  • Tell your doctor if you are using any other ointments, cream, lotion or topical solution

  • Use DERSOL L SOLUTION once a day, before bedtime
  • It may take 4 to 8 weeks for visible improvement
  • Keep using DERSOL L SOLUTION either until the wart has been treated for 12 weeks or until you can see the lines of your skin again (called ‘ridge lines’)
  • Speak to a doctor if warts last longer than 12 weeks or if skin irritation develops
  • Avoid smoking or being near an open flame whilst using DERSOL L SOLUTION, or immediately after use

If you forgot to use DERSOL L SOLUTION

  • Do not apply a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. If you forget to take a dose apply it as soon as you remember it and then apply the next dose at the right time

If you stop using DERSOL L SOLUTION

  • Do not stop using DERSOL L SOLUTION, unless your doctor instructs you to do so

COMMON

  • allergic skin reactions (allergic dermatitis)
  • rash, dryness, scaling, irritation, itching, swelling, burning sensation, redness, excessive skin growth, discolouration of the skin
  • blistering, pain and hypersensitivity at the site of application
