Delponorm Sachet is a probiotic supplement for the treatment of diarrhoea associated with the use of antibiotics and feeding tubes. It is also used for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (group of intestinal disorders with diarrhoea, stomach pain, excess gas, bloating etc). It contains saccharomyces boulardii as an active ingredient that helps gut to fight off with the disease-causing organisms.
Saccharomyces works by restoring the balance of good healthy bacteria in the intestine that may get disturbed after the use of antibiotics or due to any infection in the intestine.
Always take Delponorm Sachet exactly as advised by your doctor. It should be taken orally directly or mixed with water or honey. Do not exceed the daily recommended dosage. Do not mix Delponorm Sachet with food items that are too hot or cold. It is not recommended in patients having central venous catheter (tube inserted from small vein below collarbone to large vein of heart for blood transfusions, chemotherapy etc.).

A: Delponorm Sachet does not compensate for the fluid losses that might have happened as a result of diarrhea. The patients should be properly rehydrated depending upon the age and severity of diarrhea.

A: Before taking Delponorm Sachet, you must inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking. It should not be administered along with oral or systemic antifungal drugs because of the fungal nature of this formulation. Contact with your doctor before taking.
