DANLITE KZ SOAP contains Ketoconazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antimicrobials. It is used to treat and prevent fungal infections of the skin like dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis (a fungal infection causing dry or oily scaling of the scalp and other parts of the body).
Before using DANLITE KZ SOAP, inform your doctor if you have any allergies, or if you are using any steroids. DANLITE KZ SOAP can be usually used by pregnant and breastfeeding women but consult your doctor for advice.
DANLITE KZ SOAP is not recommended for use in infants and children. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, wash your eyes properly with water. Call your doctor if you experience any side effects or if any of the symptoms get worse.
DANLITE KZ SOAP reduces fungal infection where ketoconazole arrests growth in fungal cells and zinc pyrithione damages the proteins essential for fungal metabolism and growth.
Use DANLITE KZ SOAP as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Apply DANLITE KZ SOAP to the affected part of the skin and rub gently to develop enough lather. After two minutes, wash off thoroughly.
If DANLITE KZ SOAP accidentally gets in your eye, wash your eyes with water. Do not swallow it. Your doctor will decide the proper dose and duration of therapy for you according to your age, body weight and disease condition.
Stop using DANLITE KZ SOAP and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
Skin rash:
Avoid hot showers as it can irritate your skin more. Do not scratch the affected area. Use protective clothing when going outdoors. Regularly moisturize your skin. If the symptom persists, contact your doctor.
