INTRODUCTION

DACLACURE 30MG contains Daclatasvir which belongs to a group of medicines called Antihepaciviral agents. It is used to treat chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infections in combination with sofosbuvir, with or without ribavirin.

Daclatasvir is a direct acting antiviral agent (DAA) against the hepatitis C virus which is an inhibitor of nonstructural protein 5A (NS5A), that is essential component of the HCV replication complex. It works by inhibiting both viral RNA replication and virion assembly and interacts with the N-terminus within Domain 1 of the protein, which may cause structural distortions that interfere with NS5A functions.

Before taking this DACLACURE 30MG, tell your physician if you have liver, kidney or heart problems, are pregnant or breastfeeding. This medicine is not suitable for use in children and adolescents below 18 years of age. The common side effects are nausea, headache, fatigue and diarrhea.
