HOW COMTRIX CV TABLET WORKS

COMTRIX CV TABLET is a powerful antibiotic. It contains two medicines namely, cefixime and clavulanic acid. Cefixime kills the susceptible bacteria by blocking the bacterial cell wall synthesis.

Clavulanic acid stops the bacteria from producing toxic proteins (such as beta lactamases) that can reduce the effects of antibiotics. Collectively, these actions destroy the susceptible bacteria, prevent their further growth and multiplication which in turn reduces the severity of the infection.
