CLOTIVAC EAR DROPS is a combination of Beclomethasone, Clotrimazole, Lignocaine and Neomycin which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids, Antifungals, Local anesthetic agents and Antibiotics respectively. It is used to treat ear infections like otitis externa and chronic suppurative otitis media.
Otitis externa is a condition that causes inflammation (redness and swelling) of the external ear canal, which is the tube between the outer ear and eardrum. Chronic suppurative otitis media is a type of ear disease where there is an ongoing chronic infection of the middle ear without an intact tympanic membrane.
CLOTIVAC EAR DROPS is not recommended for use in patients with psychiatric illnesses, epilepsy and severe systemic infections. Contact your doctor before using. CLOTIVAC EAR DROPS should be used with caution in patients with lung, liver, kidney or heart diseases. Contact your doctor before using. CLOTIVAC EAR DROPS should be used with caution in pregnancy and breastfeeding women.

CLOTIVAC EAR DROPS helps to treat infection, where Beclomethasone belongs to corticosteroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers which are responsible for pain, inflammation and allergy, Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi, while Lignocaine is an anaesthetic that blocks the sensation of pain and Neomycin is an antibiotic which inhibits the bacterial growth in the ear.
