INTRODUCTION
CLOME 25MG TABLET contains Clomiphene which belongs to the group of medicines called Ovulation Stimulators. It is used in the treatment of female infertility. It can promote ovulation (release of matured egg from the ovaries) in women who do not produce eggs and in women undergoing fertility treatments.
Prior to the treatment, your doctor may evaluate your fertility status thoroughly as a precaution. During treatment with CLOME 25MG TABLET, your doctor will closely monitor your health condition through several blood tests and ultrasounds to avoid the risk of side effects.
Before taking CLOME 25MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any problems in your kidney or liver. You must also inform your doctor if you have fits, high blood fat levels, unexplained vaginal bleeding, early menopause, cyst in the ovaries or cancer in the breast, uterus or ovaries as a precaution.
CLOME 25MG TABLET should not be used in pregnant women after successful conception. It is also not recommended for use in breastfeeding women and in children or adolescents (aged below 18 years).
The most common side effects of taking CLOME 25MG TABLET are flushing, lower stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, painful periods, heavy bleeding, painful breasts and bloating. Consult your doctor if they worsen.

HOW CLOME 25MG TABLET WORKS
CLOME 25MG TABLET is an ovulation stimulator. It makes your body release the sufficient amount of hormones that stimulates the release of matured eggs from the ovaries (ovulation). This may help women to become pregnant easily.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Take CLOME 25MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
SIDE EFFECTS OF CLOME 25MG TABLET
COMMON
- flushing
- lower stomach pain with weight gain and swelling
- nausea, vomiting
- painful periods
- heavy bleeding during periods
- bleeding in between periods
- breast pain
- bloating, distended stomach
- increased blood fat levels
UNCOMMON
- nervousness
- feeling dizzy, problems in balance
- tiredness
- difficulty in falling asleep (insomnia)

RARE
- fits
- eye pain, reduced vision
Stop taking CLOME 25MG TABLET and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
- signs of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (such as lower abdominal pain with sensation of nausea or vomiting, weight gain, difficulty in breathing, difficulty in passing urine, enlarged ovaries and fluid build-up in chest or abdomen)
- signs of allergic reactions (such as skin rash, itching, swelling of the eyes, face, lips, tongue or throat leading to difficulty in breathing or swallowing)
- signs of a stroke (such as weakness, numbness, or paralysis on one side of the body, slurred speech, sudden blurred vision, unsteadiness or confusion)
- blurred vision or flashes or spots in front of the eyes
- sings of liver problems causing yellowing of eyes and skin (jaundice)
- sudden severe headaches
- mental illness like psychosis
HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS
Nausea and Vomiting:
Take CLOME 25MG TABLET with or just after meals. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating oil rich or spicy foods. Consult your doctor if your symptom worsens.
WARNING & PRECAUTIONS
PREGNANCY
CLOME 25MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.
BREASTFEEDING
CLOME 25MG TABLET can reduce breast milk production. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking CLOME 25MG TABLET if you are a breastfeeding woman.
DRIVING AND USING MACHINES
Do not drive or operate any machines if you experience any vision problems (like blurred vision) after taking CLOME 25MG TABLET.
KIDNEY
CLOME 25MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients having kidney problems. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.
LIVER
CLOME 25MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients who have or ever had any liver problems in the past. Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.
ALLERGY
Do not take CLOME 25MG TABLET if you are allergic to Clomiphene.
OTHERS
CLOME 25MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you have:
- an unusual menstrual bleeding with unknown cause
- breast cancer, uterine cancer or ovarian cancer
- ovarian cyst
Before taking CLOME 25MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have:
- or ever had fits or seizures
- fibroids in womb
- polycystic ovaries
- swollen or enlarged ovaries
- or have a family history of hypertriglyceridemia (high fat content in blood)
- an early menopause
Use in pediatrics:
CLOME 25MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years). Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.
Use in geriatrics:
CLOME 25MG TABLET is for use only in patients who undergo menstruation. It is not intended for use in men or in elderly women who have reached menopause.
INTERACTIONS

Before taking CLOME 25MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicines including other prescription, non-prescription or herbal medicines.
Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally took more CLOME 25MG TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.
