What special precautions should I follow while using CLIFACE GEL?
Before using CLIFACE GEL inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, lung or heart diseases. Avoid applying CLIFACE GEL to a cut, scrapped, sunburnt or eczema affected skin. This medicine is not for oral, ophthalmic or intravaginal use.
What is CLIFACE GEL used for?
CLIFACE GEL is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate acne in patients above 12 years of age. Do not use it for any other condition other than that prescribed by your doctor.
How should I use CLIFACE GEL?
Always apply CLIFACE GEL, as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. On the affected area, apply a thin layer of this medicine. Treated areas on the face need not be covered with a plaster or bandage. Do not apply this medicine on your face beyond 5 days. Avoid applying CLIFACE GEL around your eyes, including eyelids.
Is CLIFACE GEL safe to use in pregnant and breastfeeding women?
CLIFACE GEL should be used with caution during pregnancy, women planning for pregnancy and in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before applying.
Can CLIFACE GEL cause skin irritation or itchy skin?
CLIFACE GEL may cause skin irritation or itchy skin. Avoid hot bath because hot water can irritate your skin further. Do not scratch the affected area. Use protective clothing when going outdoors. Regularly moisturize your skin and apply calamine lotion as a coolant. Discuss with your doctor if the symptom worsens.
