Talk to your Doctor, if you:

  • are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • suffer from lung disease
  • have a liver, kidney problem
  • have glaucoma
  • have myasthenia gravis
  • suffer from sleep apnea
  • suffer from incoordination of the muscles (spinal or cerebellar ataxia)
  • have a history of depression or suicide attempts
  • have rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • Your doctor will give the right dose based on your child’s age and body weight
  • Do not drive or operate any machines while taking this medicine as it may affect the mental alertness

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

  • narcotic pain relievers (morphine, codeine)
  • muscle relaxants
  • sleeping medication
  • oxidase inhibitors, tricyclic antidepressants, phenothiazines, monoamine oxidase inhibitors
  • drugs used to treat epilepsy
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you

If you take more CLEPS 0.5MG

  • If you have taken more of this medicine than the prescribed dose, contact your doctor or go to nearest hospital immediately

If you forget to take CLEPS 0.5MG

  • If you forget to take a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember and then continue as before
  • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose

If you stop taking CLEPS 0.5MG

  • Do not stop taking your medicine unless your doctor tells to do so
  • Symptoms of withdrawal: shaking, sweating, agitation/restlessness, sleep disturbances, anxiety (possibly extreme), headaches, muscle pain, tension, confusion and irritability, numbness and tingling of the extremities, hallucinations (see or hear things that are not there), increased sensitivity to light, noise

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

  • muscle weakness and dizziness
  • increased salivation
  • movement control and balance issues
  • increased secretion from the lungs
  • difficulties in breathing and/or severe choking and coughing

  • sudden anxiety or excitation, restlessness, agitation, irritability, hallucinations (see or hear things that are not there) or delusions, severe sleep disturbances, nightmares, inappropriate behavior, feeling low
  • red skin, hives, itching, swelling of the lips, face, tongue, throat, trouble breathing, wheezing, shortness of breath, skin rashes, blisters of the skin, sores or pain in the mouth or eyes
  • changes in weight
  • reduced libido (sex drive)
